The pianist, 1986 born in Yerevan, Armenia, comes from a musician's family. Both parents are concert pianists. She studied with Elza Tandilyan at the Tschaikovsky School of Music and with Prof. Suren Zakaryan at Erevan State Conservatory of Music. In 2010 she earned her Master of Music: PERFORMING and CREATIVE HIGHER MASTERSHIP.
She participated in master classes with A. Skavronsky, R. Buchbinder and
V. Krainev.
Lilit Zakaryan has already been performing in the US, South America, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Iran, Cyprus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Poland.
She performed as a soloist with the Kazakhstan and Kislovodsk Symphony Orchestra, the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Armenian State Choir.
Since 2005 Lilit Zakaryan works in the Armenian State Youth Orchestra, since 2010 she is assistant in the piano class of Suren Zakaryan.
Awards:
1996: Laureate of D. Shostakovich All-Russian Competition.
1997: Chopin Young Performers International Competition 3rd Prize (Yugoslavia).
1998: Grand International Concours de piano” 1st Prize (France).
2000: Laureate of the All-Armenian Competition ”Legacy”.
2005: Laureate of Delphian games (Ukraine).
2007: Laureate of Aram Khachaturian Piano Competition (Armenia).

Lilit Zakaryan and Verena Rein are an ideal, subtle and colourful Lieder duo. Their debut in the Yerevan Chamber Music Hall, Armenia was an event and a great success.
